Saturday was the day of the big Summer Solstice Festival and parade in Santa Barbara. It's the one time of the year here when the abundantly freaky meets the scantily clad at the intersection of the G-string and the silly string.
With pedestrians walking down the middle of the street, people holding parties in their front yards and crowds gathering on balconies and clutching red cups, downtown Santa Barbara suddenly started looking a lot like, Isla Vista.
But believe me, I'm not complaining.
