Reportedly, at least six employees were laid off at the Santa Barbara News-Press this morning. One did special sections, two in classified, two in circulation retention and an Internet sales person.

Updated at 2:25 pm. Latest information that between 10 and 15 people have been laid off at the News-Press and that owner Wendy McCaw has shut down the Goleta Valley Voice, the weekly paper that she owns.
