With all the precincts counted but not late absentee and provisional ballots, (Hannah-Beth) Jackson holds a slim lead 153,106 votes to (Tony) Strickland's 152,998.
Jackson's lead in Santa Barbara County was 11,000 votes. In Ventura County, Strickland had nearly 8,000 more votes than Jackson. And in the part of the district that lies in L.A. County, Strickland had a 3,000 vote margin, Which explains why this race is virtually, dead even.
